Growing hope, one bouquet at a time.

Summer Newsletter

The Garden Is Blooming!

Summer has arrived, and the Cancer Victory Garden is bursting with color, beauty, and purpose. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, survivors, supporters, and donors, the garden is thriving and bringing encouragement to cancer patients throughout our community.

Our mission remains simple but meaningful: to provide uplifting flower arrangements, grown locally by survivors and volunteers, to cancer patients at the Hearst Cancer Resource Center, French Hospital, Dignity Infusion Center, and Grace Bible Church.

Every bloom represents hope, kindness, and the support of a caring community.

□ New Recipients We are proud to welcome Adventist Health Sierra Vista Hospital cancer patients to our lineup. You are now reaching even more patients each week!

The flowers are growing quickly, and weekly harvesting has begun. Our volunteers are busy cutting, conditioning, and arranging fresh blooms every Monday, 8:30–11:00 AM, then delivering them to local cancer support organizations.

There is something special about receiving a bouquet grown with love by someone who understands the cancer journey. These arrangements remind patients that they are not alone.

Spring Planting Fundraiser Recap

April 18, 2026

More than 40 incredible volunteers gathered for our annual Signature Planting Fundraiser. The garden came to life in beautifully organized chaos, with every plant placed by caring hands.

From the moment the first plants went into the soil, there was an unmistakable energy in the air — full of laughter, teamwork, and shared purpose. After a productive morning, everyone enjoyed a well-earned lunch, followed by a special tour led by our floral volunteers, who showcased their arrangements and shared insights into their creative process.

We are deeply grateful for every volunteer. Their commitment, enthusiasm, and generosity make everything we do possible.

□ Garden Opening Day The Cancer Victory Garden officially opened on Monday, May 25, 2026. A true reflection of what can be accomplished together. □
With Gratitude

Thank You

The Cancer Victory Garden exists because of generous supporters like you. Whether you volunteer, attend events, donate supplies, purchase a flower subscription, or make a financial contribution — you are helping spread hope one bouquet at a time.

Together, we are growing more than flowers. We are growing encouragement, connection, and joy for those facing cancer.
