🌿 Spring Planting Fundraiser Recap – April 18, 2026 🌿
This past Saturday, April 18, we gathered for our annual Signature Planting Fundraiser, and what a memorable and meaningful day it was!
With more than 40 incredible volunteers joining us, the garden quickly came to life in what can only be described as beautifully organized chaos. The purpose of this event was to plant the entire garden in a single day, helping everything take root and begin growing as quickly as possible, and thanks to our dedicated team, that goal was accomplished with enthusiasm and care.
From the moment the first plants went into the soil, there was an unmistakable energy in the air, full of laughter, teamwork, and shared purpose. Volunteers worked side by side to transform the space, and their efforts are already beginning to show in the vibrant garden beds.
After a productive morning, everyone enjoyed a well-earned lunch together, creating time to relax, connect, and celebrate the hard work. One of the day's highlights was a special tour led by our floral volunteers, who showcased their arrangements and shared insights into their creative process. It was a meaningful and inspiring moment for all who attended.
We are deeply grateful for our volunteers. Their commitment, enthusiasm, and generosity make everything we do possible. Simply put, we couldn't do this work without them.
We're also excited to share that the opening day of the Cancer Victory Garden will be Monday, May 25, 2026. We look forward to welcoming the community to experience the garden in full bloom, a true reflection of what can be accomplished together.

We're hosting a lively Mexican Street Fiesta, our biggest fundraiser of the year for the Cancer Victory Garden and truly an event not to be missed! Enjoy two hours of live mariachi music, festive food, and vibrant community spirit.
Come dressed to celebrate, guayaberas, vestidos, and your favorite festive attire are encouraged! A special highlight of the evening will be a chef preparing delicious street tacos, complete with fresh guacamole, cilantro, and all the fixings, yum!
